Whitley Bay has all the shops you’d expect from a relatively small seaside town.  However if you want to do some serious shopping why not hit one of the following where you can literally shop till you drop:

• Whitley Bay, The town centre shops right on our doorstep and among them you’ll find plenty of independent outlets offering high quality merchandise as well as some of the well known chain stores.
• Royal Quays Shopping Outlet, North Shields – One of the first to open in the Country and offering over 50 shops selling famous brands with huge savings.
• Newcastle City Centre - Everything you’d expect from a large City Centre.  The main shopping mall is Eldon Square although there are many boutiques and designer shops in the surrounding streets.
• The Metrocentre, Gateshead - Europes largest indoor shopping and leisure complex is pure indulgence to real shopaholics!  It’s easily accessible from the Melrose and provides wonderful surroundings, plenty of places to eat or take refreshments as well as a multiscreen cinema, megabowl entertainment complex, amusement arcade and the metroland indoor theme park.   A really fun experience for all!
